Trying to sell your boat but do not want the trouble of showing, negotiating, or water testing only for a "joy ride"? Let us take the hassle out of selling your boat. At Bankers Marine we specialize in consignments for our sellers. For a percentage we take pictures of your boat and market it on Boat Trader. We handle showings, cleaning, lake testing, and getting financing for buyers if needed. We will not do anything without your approval as a seller. We will call you with any offers we receive on your boat and handle all the negotiations between you and the buyer keeping your personal information confidential. We will confirm the buyer has approval for financing or has the ability to pay cash prior to scheduling a water test with your boat. Our consignment agreement does not have a monthly fee or time frame to sell your boat and we only get paid if it sells.
We require the boats we sell to be in working order prior to selling. Once you bring us you boat to sell we will inspect the vessel for any repairs the might be needed and offer suggestions for possible cosmetic repairs which might affect the selling price for your boat.
If you would like to consign your boat with us first contact us with year, make, and model of your boat. We will "book it out" and give you a range of numbers for the value of your boat contingent upon our inspection. If you want to proceed with the consignment process we will need titles for the boat, motor (if outboard), and trailer. If you have a lien holder on the boat we will need the payoff amount for the loan.
